The value of training
The value of training underpins the LUCE IN FAMIGLIA approach. "Raggio di Luce" was born: a space created to train and improve the skills and capabilities of our selected figures.
LUCE IN FAMIGLIA plans to offer a specific, targeted training programme for those who choose to work with the so-called vulnerable category: people with disabilities affected by conditions such as ALS, Parkinson's disease, dementia, Alzheimer's and non-self-sufficient or reduced-autonomy elderly people.
The individual approach
Even though their vulnerabilities are categorised by condition, the goal of training is to provide more tools to use with each individual.
The information shared in training courses therefore refers to data collected in study groups from previous courses, because only those who gain hands-on field experience enrich the experience of others.
Continuous updating
Training extends beyond scientific medical knowledge, a determining and essential tool for managing this category of people.
Updating in this working field is also important for the training of family assistants, whether they are healthcare workers or caregivers who simply look after the elderly.
The intention of Raggio di Luce is to offer a training and development programme to enrich and equip operators so as to make the help they provide ever more professional.
